Dies Jan. 22

Mrs. Nellie J. Waugh, 78, a long time resident of Lucas County, Died at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton Monday evening, January 22. A resident of the Chariton Manor for the past year, she entered the hospital Monday.

Survivors include her husband, Roy, of Chariton; one son, Rev. Calvin Waugh, of Alger, Ohio; one daughter, Rosemary Katsion of Andover, England and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 25 at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton with the Pastor Larry Rickard conducting. Burial was in the Bethel Chapel Cemetery in Clarke County. Memorials may be made to the Gideon at the funeral home.

Area relatives include a brother-in-law, Herman Waugh and wife, Irene; cousins, Mrs. Leo Manly, Mrs. Mabel Frizzell, Mrs. Fern DeVore, Mrs. Cleo O'Neal and niece, Mrs. Robert Snell, all of Osceola and other area relatives and friends.
