Mrs. Frances L. Carr died in Murray the morning of May 22nd. She has been seriously ill with a painful disease much of the past two years, but has striven to bear it and recover, for the same of those she loved, with wonderful patience and courage.

She has been most of her life a resident of this county, and was for many years a teacher in the public schools. Her life was a useful and happy one, full of kindness to others, and therefore she was surrounded by a large circle of attached friends.

She was married to Aaron Carr in 1873, and their home has since been in Hopeville and Murray. Her beautiful character was an earnest Christian one, whose memory will long remain in many hearts, while the bereaved husband will receive their deepest sympathy.
