Died ThursdayHarley Kenneth Woods, 57-year-old Clarke county farmer died Thursday morning at his home in Jackson township near Woodburn.
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Webster Funeral Home with Rev. Clinton Wolf officiating. Burial will be in the Woodburn Cemetery.
The son of John H. and Emma Cable Woods, he was born December 26, 1905 on a farm near Woodburn. Except for one year when he farmed in Lucas county he had been a farmer in that area all of his life. He was educated in the Clarke county schools, and was a member of the Woodburn Christian church.
Surviving relatives include five sisters: Caryl Davenport, Woodburn; Carrie Wohlliab, Mary Bryant, Arlene Doss, Osceola, and Edna Kimzey, New Virginia; four brothers: Charles H. Woods, Osceola; Johnny, Raymond and Ernest of Woodburn, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gretta, two brothers, Wayne and Henry and his parents.
