Roscoe Agans, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Agans, was born November 7, 1912 near Decatur, Iowa and died April 28, 1976 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was at the age of 63 years, five months, and 21 days.
He was united in marriage to Ilma Elberta Hammond on June 2, 1945. To this union two children were born, Richard and Marilyn.
He was a veteran and member of the American Legion. He has spent the past 29 years as a barber in Murray.
Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Ilma of Murray, a son Richard Agans of Afton, one daughter Mrs. Marilyn Brobst of Murray, six grandchildren; Marcy, Melody, Leah, Sean, Tracy, and Chad, and a host of other relatives and friends.
