Dies Monday

Funeral services for Mae Denly were held Wednesday, September 19, 1979. Rev. Roy Ives officiated the 1:30 p.m. service from the Webster Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with burial in the Union Cemetery, Clarke County, Iowa. Mrs. Denly, 94, died at the Clarke County Hospital Monday, September 17.

Mae Denly was born August 30, 1885, in Indianola, Iowa, the daughter of Austin and Florence Hutt Fields. She attended the Warren and Clarke County Schools. January 1, 1903 in St. Charles, Iowa she was united in marriage to Harry Denly, Eleven children were born to this union.

She was active in the Christian Church organizations.

She is survived by sons, Orville Denly and wife, Mildred of Galesburg, Illinois, Clie Denly and wife Maxine of Galesburg, Illinois, Pearl Denly and wife Neita of Galesburg, Illinois, John Denly and wife, Virginia of Lorimor, Iowa, Robert Denly and wife, Bernice of New Virginia, Iowa, Harold Denly and wife, Charlene of Galesburg, Illinois, Garold Denly and wife Dora, of Osceola, Iowa, daughter Ruby Wambold, Osceola, Iowa, daughter in law, Vada Denly of Osceola, Iowa. 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, three sons Fred, Roy and Ray, three daughters in law, Dorothy, Dot and Edna, one son in law, Ed, five brothers, three sisters.
