Died, on Friday, June 6th, Samuel Webster, aged 73 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Uncle Sam Webster, whose death we are called to chronicle this week, was born in Botetourt county. Virginia. He removed from there to Indiana at an early day and there married Miss Frances H. Field, of Putnam county, in the year 1835. In 1855, Mr. Webster with his family came to Osceola, being among our oldest settlers.
No man among us was more respected than "Uncle Sam," as we all familiarly called him.

The bereaved companion and children of the deceased have the sympathy of all our people. The funeral took place at the residence and was largely attended.
