Nancy J a n e Williamson, was born, August 11,1865, near Liberty, Iowa. She departed this life June 5, 1903 at her home in Liberty aged thirty-eight years, nine months and fourteen days. She was married to Wm. McKnight June 23,1882. To this union was born live children, Lizzie, Delbert, John, Bertha and little Nancy Wilda, aged ten days, all of whom with husband, aged father and mother, relatives and many friends remain to mourn the loss of a loving wife, mother and friend.

Sho was a member of the United Brethren church, she was converted in 1888 in a revival meeting held by Rev. I. N. Cronk. She remained a steadfast, upright Christian until her Master called her home. She was a kind neighbor, a sympathizing friend to all who knew her and were in trouble, thinking not of herself but of how. she might brighten the lives of those around her. Some of her last words were. "Oh how sweet it
will be in that beautiful land." The funeral was held in Liberty at the U. B.church, Rev. Fye and Rev. Zike conducted the service. She was laid to rest in the Liberty cemetery.
