Wm. G. Evans, a well known old settler of Murray, died January 15th, in that city. He was sixty-nine years, one month, twenty-four days old. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. Gibson were held at the M. E. church on Tuesday at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the Murray cemetery.

Note: Interment was in the Cox cemetery.
