LILLIAN G. BURCHETT

Lillian Geraldine Burchett, daughter of John C. and Julia Kriz Krul, was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Hemingford, Neb., and died Sept. 29, 1999. at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. She was 84.

She graduated from high school in Sioux City and attended a business college for one year. She married Donald Gale Burchett on Feb. 5, 1954, in South Gate, Calif.

Mrs. Burchett was a secretary for an aircraft parts factory in Paramount, Calif. After many years in California, Mr. and Mrs. Burchett left their home in Lake Isabella and returned to Murray in 1994.

She had a great love of flowers, which everyone noticed when they drove by her home in Murray. She loved everything about the outdoors. The couple was campers, boaters, and fishermen.

She was a member of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Burchett was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Tubbs and Alma James; a sister-in-law, Madge Strubhar, and her mother and father-in-law.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Gale "Speed" Burchett, a sister, Agnes Gaumer, and her husband, Loren Gaumer, and a brother-in-law, Olin Strubhar all of Murray; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
