Graveside rites held in
Osceola for Virginia Hart

Graveside services were Friday at Bethel Chapel Cemetery in rural Clarke County for Virginia Alice Curtis Hart of Independence, Mo., who died April 1, 1991, at Independence Regional Health Center. She was 76.

The Rev. Ed Morris of St. Charles officiated at the 2 p.m. service at Bethel Chapel Cemetery. Kale Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hart was born in Hiatville County, Kan. on April 14, 1914. She was adopted at the age of seven weeks from the Children's Home at Lomoni by Ida Mae Curtis Marker of Lucas, who later married Milton Marker. Mrs. Hart attended and graduated from Norwood High School in Lucas County.

She married Russell M. Hart on July 13, 1930, at Colo.

The couple were the parents of two children.

Mrs. Hart was an active member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a half brother, Richard Weinreich, and her biological mother, Lottie Weinreich.

Surviving relatives are her husband, Russell; two sons, C. William Hart of Ottumwa and Jerry D. Hart of Santa Fe, N. M.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two half brothers and a half sister.
