Thomas Randol.

Thomas Randol was born December 29, 1857, in Moultrey county, Illinois, and departed this life on April 29, 1932, at the age of 74 years and 4 months. He was married to Mattie E. Williams on September 12, 1888. To this union were born six children. Two died in infancy. Those living are Mrs. Geo. Fuller of near St. Charles, Iowa, Edward W. of Lovewell, Kansas; Fred and George of near Osceola, Iowa. He came to Clarke county in the year 1894. He is survived by his wife and four children and fourteen grandchildren, one sister and three brothers of Illinois, the sister, Mrs. Drude Foster, and brothers, Samuel, Wesley, and Oliver of Sullivan, Illinois. The deceased united with the United Brethren denomination at the age of 21 years.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. F. C. McCallon Sunday at 2 p. m. from the Webster Funeral Home and burial was made in the Hebron cemetery.
