"Duck" Crabb,
trucker, died

Funeral services were conducted at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola Tuesday morning for Ralph V. "Duck" Crabb, retired Murray trucker who died Saturday, Sept. 15, 1990 at the Afton Care Center.

He was 79.

The Rev. Dwayne Henrichs of Thayer officiated and burial was in the Woodburn Cemetery.

Mr. Crabb, the son of Ray Crabb and Nellie Chip Crabb, was born in Clarke County. He attended Clarke County schools and on Jan. 7, 1939 in Bethany, Mo. he married Helen Preston. The couple were the parents of a daughter and a son.

Surviving relatives include, son, Dick, and his wife, Carolyn.
