Funeral Services For Mrs. John James
Held At Woodburn Monday; Died Friday

Mrs. John E. James; 26, died at a local hospital Friday; Burial was made Monday at Woodburn following services at the Catholic church in that town. Mr. and Mrs. James lived in the vicinity of Woodburn.

Geneva Ada Waugh, daughter of Lewis A. and Anna Waugh was born in Clarke county, October 10, 1909, and departed this life May 1, 1936, having reached the age of 26 years, 6 months and 20 days.

She was united in marriage to Johnnie E. James February 24, 1928. To this happy union three children were born, Joan May, Jackie Junior and an infant son, Thomas Lewis. The latter preceded his mother in death a few days ago.

Geveva was a true and faithful companion as well as a patient, loving mother. She always lent a helping hand when ever she was needed, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, two children, her father, Lewis A. Waugh, five brothers, Herman, Wade and Wayne, all of Woodburn, Roy of Osceola, and Lloyd of Derby, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her mother, a brother Herbert and sister Juanita, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Catholic church at Woodburn, Monday, May 4, at 10 a.m. Interment at Woodburn Catholic cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Johnnie James was held at the Catholic church Monday at 10 a. m. She passed away Friday at a sanatorium in Osceola. She had a severe attack of the flu in the winter and never fully recovered. She leaves to mourn her parting a husband and two children. We surely and truly sympathize with them in their deep sorrow. She was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
