Had Been Bedfast At Home In Hope-
ville For Past Two Years; Funeral
Arrangements Have Not Been Made

Theodore F. Yetts, Clarke county's last Civil War veteran, died at his home in Hopeville Monday evening at 6:35. He was 94 years old.

The body was taken to a Leon funeral home, and no funeral arrangements have been made at this time, pending arrival of his four sons from Omaha.

Mr. Yetts had been ill for some time. For two years he had been bedfast, following an accident at the home of a relative in Des Moines on the Fourth of July.

His daughter, Alta, has lived with him and cared for him since the death of his wife, about 5 years ago.

The sons are Bill, Clyde, Charles and George. Another daughter died six years ago.
