Ruby Andrews dies Tuesday

Funeral services for Ruby Evelyn Andrews were held Thursday, March 1 from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. The 2 p.m. services were conducted by the Rev. Ivan C. Bys with interment in the Maple Hill Cemetery. She died Tuesday February 27 at the Clarke County Hospital.

Ruby Evelyn Andrews was born April 20, 1921, daughter of Winifred and Guy Kilgore. She attended schools at Cromwell and was a member of the Methodist Church in Osceola. She had been a bookkeeper at Underwood Auto Supply in Osceola and was united in marriage March 20, 1947 to Allen Andrews in Creston. Two children were born to this union.

Surviving relatives include daughters, Patricia Rubino and husband Michael of Iowa City; Jane Andrews of Des Moines and one sister Opal Gordon of Creston.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
