Mrs. Doyle Wilkie.

Mrs. Doyle Wilkie was born August 11 in the year of 1903 in Union county, Iowa, and died July 13, in the year of 1926, at the age of 22 years, 11 months and 2 days old. She was married to Doyle Wilkie March 2, in the year 1922, and to this union two children were born, Dorothy Emma 3 years old, and Howard Vernon 2 years old. She leaves to mourn her husband, two children, father and mother, Arthur C. Johnson and Louisa C. Johnson, three brothers, Roy and Fred of California and Wilbert of Osceola, Iowa, and three sisters Mrs. Harry C. Walters of Creston, Iowa, Mrs. Ora Thompson of Spaulding, Iowa, and Miss Mae Johnson at home, besides a host of relatives.

Nora united with the church at sixteen years of age and remained a true Christian until death took her from us. Nora said she saw two angels dressed in white come for her and they placed the beautiful robe upon her and they started to take her home, she said I cannot leave my babies now but come again and I will go with you home to Jesus. In a week she fell asleep in Jesus.

Funeral services were held at the Frame church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Chas. E. Long, and the body laid to rest in the Cox cemetery.
