Mrs. Waugh.
Mary Florence Larkins was born November 19, 1846, in Ohio, and died February 10, 1914, in Woodburn, Iowa, aged 68 year, 2 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Chas. S. Waugh in McDonough county, Illinois, September 12, 1867. To this union were born ten children. Three children and her husband have preceded her to the better land. She leaves to mourn her departure seven children—three boys and four girls besides a large circle of friends. The children are J. A. Waugh of Woodburn; L. A. Waugh of near Woodburn: Carl Waugh of Chariton: Cora Wheeler of near Lucas: Lena Souder of near Derby: Josie Mason of near Lucas, and Lizzie Mundell of near Derby. The deceased moved to Clarke county, Iowa in 1869 and since then has lived in and around Woodburn. She has been a faithful Christian and a member of the United Brethren church since a young girl, but now she has been called to go to the home above where all is joy, peace and happiness, and where there is no more parting or weeping and no more goodbyes.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 12 o'clock at the M. E church by the pastor, Rev. Forest H. Perkins, after which the body was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Ottawa cemetery.
