Robert A. (Bob) Wallace was the middle child of Lloyd McCune Wallace and Lois Moore Wallace. Bob was born on 1-26-1928 in Weldon, Iowa and passed away on 9-8-2018 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO due to pulmonary fibrosis and pneumonia.

Bob and Selma (Jean) Gardner were united in marriage on August 12, 1950. They were later blessed with three children: Patti Jean of Pella, IA, Beverly Rae of Salina, KS, and Robert William (Bill) of Norco, CA. In 1964, Bob and Jean were blessed with 3 additional children, Nancy Kay of La Vista, NE, Karen Lynn of Ray town, MO, and James Todd of Ames, IA due to Bob’s sister’s untimely death.

Bob served in the Army of Occupation under General McArthur in Japan after WWII, then returned home in 1947 and started his career in his early married life as an Iowa Highway Patrol Officer and worked in his later years as a banker.

Bob and Jean primarily raised their family in Osceola and Mitchellville, IA. They then moved to and retired in Bella Vista, AR and spent their later years in Marionville, MO at the Ozarks Methodist Manor surrounded by dear friends and care staff that they lovingly considered family.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Jean in June of 2015 and is survived by their 6 children, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Bob’s family is comforted in knowing that because of Bob’s strong faith, he is home with the Lord and with his beloved wife Jean.
