Mrs. Elizabeth Kirkpatrick died Tuesday afternoon, May 3rd, after an illness of less than three weeks, at the home of her nephew, L.D. Kelley, of Van Wert, aged 72 years, 7 months and 29 days.

During recent years she made her home with her sisters, Mrs. James Kelley of Van Wert, Mrs. Jonathan Hamilton of Leon, and Mrs. Ben Hall near Weldon. Short funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 4th at the home of L.C. Kelley and the body interred in the Green Bay cemetery.

This was the Libbie Howard so well known to Osceola people when she was a nurse here years ago and made her home with the P. L. Fowler family.
