MEDIAPOLIS, IA - Harold Sullivan, 80, Independence, IA died Friday, July 8, 1983 at People Care Center, Independence.

He was born Sept 26, 1902, in Clarke County, IA to Louis and Ethel Loomis Sullivan. He married Viola Treat, June 4, 1928 at Grand Island, NE; she died Jan. 12, 1965.

Mr. Sullivan was a retired employee of the J.I. Case plant at Burlington and lived in Mediapolis for many years.

Surviving: Three sons, Thomas Sullivan, Independence, Joseph Sullivan, Burlington, Leland Sullivan, Mediapolis, a sister, Velma Jones, Truro, IA and five grandchildren.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Fry Chapel, Mediapolis, Pastor Clark Beyerhelm with burial in Kossuth cemetery. A memorial has been established.
