—Mrs. J. E. Edgar, living in the south part of Osceola, died very suddenly, Tuesday morning. She had been well and done some little housework the day before. She complained of a pain in her head, and failed to rapidly. The doctors attributed the death to heart failure. A husband and six children, the youngest but three weeks old, survive. The funeral occurred at the house, at 10:30 A. M. Wednesday, Rev. Sparks officiating. This is a pittable case, the irreparable loss of a mother whose young children need her so. The good Samaritans of Osceola can find here an abundant opportunity for the exercise of kindly sympathy and help. Mrs. Edgar is well spoken of by her neighbors. Verily "she hath done what she could." Her age was a few months over thirty-six years. Sarah E. Wry was born August 9, 1858, in Jones county, Iowa. She came to Clarke county with her parents in 1860. She united with the Methodist Protestant church at the age of seventeen years. She was married to J. E. Edgar in 1877, and eight children were born to them.
