Rites held Saturday in Osceola for C. Kindred

Services were Saturday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola for Clarence Oliver Kindred of Osceola who died July 18, 1990 at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola. He was 80.

The Rev. Clifford Haider of Osceola officiated. Burial was in Leon Cemetery at Leon.

Mr. Kindred, the son of William Sherman and Elsie Hutchinson Kindred, was born at Pleasanton Dec. 12, 1909. He graduated from Pleasanton High School.

He married Beulah Faye Hagan March 5, 1934 at Princeton, Mo. Mr. Kindred retired after farming in the Van Wert area for 40 years. He had lived in Osceola since 1974.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronal Gene Kindred in 1956; sisters, Thelma Agnew, Evelyn Parson, Wilma Evans, Dorothy May Kindred; infant brother; and a nephew, James Evans.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Kindred of Osceola; two daughters, Reva Beers and her husband, Edward of Leon and Neva Lee McDowell and her husband, Orval, of Osceola; a son Gale Kindred and his wife, Donna, of Osceola; two sisters, Bertha Driskill of Leon and Mildred Hagan and her husband, Lloyd of Apache Junction, Ariz., nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
