WAYNE B. NELSON
Wayne Bert Nelson, 69, of Truro died of cancer March 15, 1994, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held March 19 at
Truro Congregational United Church of Christ, with burial in Field Cemetery in Clarke County.

Mr. Nelson was born in Lorimor and had lived in the Truro area most of his life. He was a farmer and member of the National Farmers Organization, Farmers Union, New Virginia American Legion, Truro Lions Club and Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, a charter member of Osceola Eagles Lodge and a county trustee.

Survivors include his wife, Isabel; three sons, David of Des Moines, Paul of Truro and James of Mitchellville; his mother, Mabel Nelson, and a sister, Betty Ann Green, both of Osceola; a brother, Raymond of Truro; two grandchildren; and a step-grandchild.
