Paul Little, 81, of Creston, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Greater Regional Hospice House in Creston. According to Paul's wishes no service or visitation will be held. Hiram Paul Little was born May 20, 1930 in Clarke County, Iowa to Hiram Charles Little and Iva S. (Loomis) Little. Paul was educated in a country school until the sixth grade and then graduated from Murray High School in 1948. Paul served in the United States Navy from November 11, 1948 – October 7, 1952. He was united in marriage to Nila Ladene (Geer) on June 14, 1953 in the Murray Methodist Church. They settled in Murray where he worked on the bridge crew for the railroad. In 1958 they moved to Creston and he began working for Smith Concrete where he worked for 40 years.

Paul is survived by; his wife: Nila Little of Creston; two sons: Danny (wife Holly) Little of Omaha, Neb. and Ted (wife Tammy) Little of Boone; one sister: Elsie O'Neall of Rosevill, Ill.; two grandchildren: Molly (husband Curtis) Bailey of Boone and Scott (wife Brandy) Little of Boone; one great-grandchild: Dylan Bailey of Boone; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; his parents; daughter: Susan Joy Little; two sisters: Leora Maffett and Charlene Denly.
