“Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Wallace, who passed away Sunday evening were held Tuesday morning from the Webster Funeral Home, Conducted by Rev. W. M. Brooks. Burial was made in the Woodburn cemetery.

Viola May Campbell, daughter of C. A. and M. L. Campbell, was born in Marion county, West Virginia, April 1, 1876, departed this life in Osceola, Iowa, December 20th, 1936, having attained the age of 60 years, 8 months and 18 days. She came with her parents to Clarke county, Iowa, in the year 1888, and located near Weldon. She received her education in the public schools. She grew to woman hood on the farm.

She was united in marriage to Isaac V. Wallace, at Weldon, September 15th, 1895. One daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wallace.

Mrs. Wallace was bereft of her husband in November, 1929.

The deceased united with the Methodist Episcopal church in early life and was a faithful member until death. She has been in failing health for several months, and death came as a release from suffering.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Muryl Brown of Powell, Wyoming, her mother, Mrs. Laura Campbell, one brother, Russell Campbell both of Osceola, one granddaughter and many other relatives and friends, who will mourn her passing.”
