“Kermit Wallace, 72, of Osceola, died at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Sunday, September 22, 1974.

Time and place of services may be obtained by calling the Webser-Kale Funeral Home in Osceola.”

“Kermit M. Wallace

“Kermit Merton Wallace, son of Mary Elizabeth Erb and Alvador W. Wallace, was born in Clarke County, Iowa, near Smyrna, on January 24, 1902, and departed this life September 22, 1974, at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of 72 years, eight months and 28 days.

He was educated in the Clarke County County schools, and on May 16, 1923, he was untied in marriage to Ruby Edna Williams at Des Moines. To this union three children were born.

Kermit was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Vincelle; and one son in infancy. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Ruby of Osceola; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Goben and husband, Ray of Indianola; Virginia Thomas and husband, Dean of Grand River; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Warren Wallace of Weldon; and a host of other relatives and friends.”
