Michael Lee Grismore, son of Herman Grismore and Beulah (Dyer) Grismore was born July 27, 1955 in Corydon, Iowa. He passed from this life January 9, 2010 at his home in Osceola, Iowa at 54 years of age.

Mike grew up in Bethlehem, Iowa and attended Wayne Community Schools. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved riding his motorcycle. He was a very meticulous person, everything had a place. He enjoyed collecting many things especially model motorcycles and lighthouses.

Those relatives who preceded Mike in death were his father, Herman Grismore; and sister, Luella Woodside.

He leaves to cherish his memory; 96 year old mother, Beulah Grismore of Corydon, IA; brother, Melvin (Betty) Grismore of Chariton, IA; sister, Rosella Enslow of Chariton, IA; sister, Ruth Neuberger of La Pine, OR; sister, Betty Beaver of Osceola, IA; sister, Mary Ellen Munyon of Osceola, IA; brother, Kenneth (Sharon) Grismore of Chariton, IA; brother, Alan (Cathy) Grismore of Chariton, IA; sister, Vicki Holland of Murray, IA; 25 nieces & nephews; 51 great nieces & great nephews; 10 great great nieces & great great nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Davis-Pence Post #69, American Legion, Osceola, IA.

Visitation will be open on Saturday with the family greeting friends one hour prior to services.

Memorial service 11:00 A.M. at Kale Funeral Home (Osceola Chapel) 301 S. Main St. Osceola, Iowa 50213 on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

Burial of his cremains will follow the memorial services on Saturday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola. Military rites will be presented by Davis Pence American Legion Post #69 in Osceola.
