Obituary:

Johnny Wayne Willcox, son of Calvin Willcox and Anna (Delveccio) Willcox was born June 10, 1926, in Elmo, Missouri, and passed from this life July 23, 2010, at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 84 years of age.

Johnny lived in Murray, Iowa from age 7 until 1946 and attended school there. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1945. He was united in marriage to Alberta W. Brammer on July 28, 1946, at Murray, Iowa and four children blessed this union.

Johnny worked as a Lineman and Line Superintendent for Clarke Electric Cooperative. He was a member of First Christian Church in Osceola. He loved his family and working in his garden.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Hylliks Cox.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Alberta W. Willcox of Osceola; children, Trudy Colosimo (Vince) of Ridgeland, MS, Toni Gross (Don) of Ankeny, IA, John Willcox of Omaha, NE, Kelley Willcox of Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren, Jackie Adams, Justin and Jerielle Adams, Taylor and Cara Sipe; Dana Sipe; great grandchildren, Anna West, Decker and Tallulah Sipe; Scout Singleton; brothers, Bill (ajeanne) Willcox of Burton, MI; Bob (Ardis) Willcox of Ruchford, MN as well as other relatives and friends.

Memorials:
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to First Christian Church in Osceola or Hospice of Central Iowa - Osceola chapter.

Visitation:
Visitation will be open on Tuesday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. The family will be present to greet friends 6:00-8:00 Tuesday evening.

Service:
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola.

Maple Hill Cemetery - Osceola, Iowa
