Dorothy Ilean Dinham, 81, lifetime Clarke County resident of Murray, died Feb, 22, 1999 at the Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.

Memorial graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 27) in the Murray Cemetery. Pastor Danny McNeal will officiate.

Mrs. Dinham was born Nov. 18, 1917 in Clarke County. She married Bernard Dinham in 1941 at Bethany, MO

She taught in Clarke County country schools and was a lifetime health caregiver.

Mrs. Dinham was a member of the Murray Church of Christ, Sarah Rebekah Lodge no. 57 in Osceola, Lakeshore Country Club in Afton and several bridge clubs. She was a member of the Clarke County Election Board for more than 20 years and was a tireless worker for the Republican Party.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Hubert.

Mrs. Dinham is survived by two sons, David Dinham and his wife, Sandy Dinham, of Overland Park, Kan. and Herbert Dinham and his wife, Teri Dinham, of Murray; two daughters, Nancy Dinham of Murray and Anita Rodenberg and her husband, Charles Rodenberg, of Carrollton, MO; three grandsons, Duane Dinham in Calif., Chuck Rodenberg of Carrollton and Matthew Dinham of Murray; four granddaughters, Dana Chase and her husband Brian Chase in Kansas, Annette Gonier and her husband, Joe Gonier of Smithville, MO., Diane Kruse of Murray and Laurie Dinham of Osceola; a sister Anna Mae Guthrie of Cedar Rapids; four brothers, Donald McNeal and his wife, Lucille McNeal, of Cedar Rapids, Harold McNeal and his wife, Mamie McNeal, of Osceola, Robert McNeal and hife, Viola McNeal of Centerville and John McNeal Jr. and his wife, Glenda McNeal, of Murray.

Arrangements were made by Samuelson Funeral Home.
