Searching for information on Elsa Austin Orvis, 1821-1908, who is buried in the Deerfield Twp Cemetery, in Chickasaw Co, IA. We found her grave marker when searching the cemetery in May, 2005. She was in her 80s and must have been living with one of her children or siblings when she passed away.I would like to know who she was living with, I had no luck with the current census, Her husband is reputed to be Eugene Orvis and he is not buried there, so she must have been alone, either divorced or widowed.
