Hi,

The New Hampton Courier has been digitized. I checked it for January and February 1893, and found obituaries (linked below) for Timothy and Mrs. John O'Leary. I also searched for "Fire" AND "Jacksonville", but none of the 10 hits described a relevant fire that applies.

I don't live in Chickasaw County, but to the best of my knowledge the genealogical society there is no longer active. If you learn otherwise, please let me know.
