Dear Rick,
Thank you for your note. I found I couldn't just click in reply and send an answer to you last time so will start here today. I will have to agree that the family members may have been buried on the farm property. I am sure that there was not a lot of money in those days. I have been reading from a couple of church histories and found that the parish house burned in 1919 and many of the church records were lost from the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Lawler, Iowa. (From Our Lady of MT. Carmel Parish 1870-1970) I also have a Jubilee Souvenir of Our Lady of Lourdes 1926 (Howard County, Iowa) Since I have been looking with more determinaton on the Grimes Family I have started to look more into some on my collection of things. So far no luck. I did go to the Family History Center here in Lewistown, Montana and did get some help about Ellen Connery Grimes but since I drive very little now don't go very often.
I have been looking at the Cemetery records in Howard County and some in the surrounding counties but need to go back and look more.
If there is a cost for any of your work please let me know and I will be glad to reimburse you for your help.
Thanks,
Mary C. Rickl
