Donald Barnett

My father, John Edward (Ed) Fitzsimmons, was born in New Hampton March 21, 1909. I just read the biography of Donald Barnett in the Who's Who posted today on the site and that reminded me of something. Years ago, I was looking at a certified copy of my grandmother's birth certificate (Margaret Elizabeth Sweeney, also born in New Hampton, in 1884). The certifying signature was Donald Barnett, and when my Dad saw that, he said "Why, that's Poodie Barnett!" It is interesting that the bio on this site shows Donald "Poodie" Barnett as born March 21, 1908, a year to the day before my Dad.
