Info I have says Jacob Montgomery b May 21, 1793 in Virginia..His first marriage was to Grace Ferrell in 1813...They moved to Ohio abt 1814 then Illinois in 1839, having nine children at this time.Grace died the same year...He remarried twice first to Maria Miller who died 1848 then married to Polly Swain 1849 ( her second marriage)Jacob and Polly moved to Chickasaw Co., IA from Waukegan IL in 1853, one son born in Iowa 1855 named Leonard wife Polly died in 1858. He then may have married a fourth time to an Elizabeth. He died in Nashua on 22 May 1866....Any info(marriage, birth,death, burial, land ownership) re this man or his wives and children would be so appreciated....Thank you in advance for your time....Sherry in Texas
