1904-1983

Alfred Roehrich, 79, died early Wednesday morning at a nursing home in Tripoli. He was born April 24, 1904 in Jacksonville township the son of Fred and Ida (Buska) Roehrich. He was a retired worker of the Milwaukee and Great Western Railroad.

Mr Roerich is survived by three brothers, Carl of Lawler, Otto of Hazelton and Albert of Knoxville. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Reed, Paul, Julius, and Bill; also five sisters, Martha in infancy, Edith Roerich, Anna Stolfus, Marie Campbell and Mildred Dowd.

Funeral services were held at 1:30pm Friday, Aug 5, at the Larkin-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard Oebser officiating.

Burial was in the New Hampton Cemetery with Leroy Huffman, John Utley, Ray Berry, Kevin McCabe, John Kelly and Lowell Stolfus as casket bearers. Visitation was Thursday at Larkin-Martin Funeral Home.
