John H. Lampson was born March 8, 1861, in Decatur, Green County, Wis., being at the time of his death 52 years, 5 months and 18 days old. He moved to Iowa with his parents when two years old and has always resided in this state. He was married Dec. 20, 1885, to Miss Lottie Masters{?} and to this union were born two children, L. and Maud M. He leaves to mourn their loss besides the widow and two children, his aged mother and two brothers, Frank, of Fredericksburg, and Ray M., of Nashua.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he died Aug. 26, 1913 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. It also indicates his wife’s maiden name was Masten.
