Mrs. S. A. Sutton received a telegram on Tuesday announcing the death that day of a brother, Joseph Bird, residing at Nashua, Iowa. On account of illness Mrs. Sutton was unable to attend the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Nashua. He was born in 1834.
