Mrs. W. K. Barker returned on Wednesday from New Hampton, Ia., where she attended the funeral of Mrs. F A. Williams.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave shows this was Leah. She is buried in New Hampton Cemetery and her gravestone shows she was born March 16, 1856 and died September 8, 1907.

Mrs. F. A. Williams Dead.
Died-Sunday morning, Sept. 8, 1907, after several months of suffering from cancer of the stomach, Mrs. F. A. Williams, aged 52 years.

Leah Farwell was born in Pecatonica, Ill., March 16, 1856; she removed with her parents to Waverly, Iowa, five years later; here she was united in marriage to F. A. Williams, December 31, 1875.

Two daughters were born to them, Mrs. Myrtle Shettler of Minneapolis and Mrs. Iva Talmadge of West Union, both of whom were at her bedside when death came.

She is survived by a devoted husband, her two daughters and a foster son, Milford. — New Hampton Tribune.

Mrs. Williams was for a time a resi­dent of Cresco, her husband being at one time the tinner in Lomas Bros., hardware store, and has many friends and acquaintances in Cresco to regret her demise.
