Mr. Fennerman Sr. one of the old residents and much respected citizens of our county died at his home near Williamstown Saturday, March 23. We have not the data at hand for an obituary proper but have known the man for many years and know that he has a wide circle of friends that will miss his friendly hand-clasp and greeting.
He was a German by birth and came to America many years ago with his good wife and they together had made a comfortable property here. His health had not been good for some years but his last sickness dates back to about six weeks ago when he was taken down with pneumonia from which he had not the strength to recover and finally the messenger caMe for hint on Saturday last.
He leaves a widow, two daughters, one in Germany the other Mrs. Chris Lamke of this place, and two sons, Henry on the old home farm and John of this place besides twelve grandchildren and hosts of friends to mourn his loss. Funeral at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will take place from the German Congregational church of New Hampton of which he was a consistent member.
