The New Hampton Tribune of June 23, contains a lengthy obituary notice of Frank Haislet, who died at his home at El Dorado Springs, Missouri, June 20, 1896, aged about 51 years. Mr. Haislet was the founder of the Tribune in 1876 and continued its editor and publisher until 1893, when it was disposed of to its present publisher and a partner. Frank Haislet was a ready writer, a good practical printer a companionable man, a warm friend but a bitter enemy. At the time of his death he was the proprietor and publisher of a paper in the town where he died. A widow and two daughters survive and mourn the death of a kind father and a good husband.
