FREDERICKSBURG ~ Peggy M. Suhr, 59, passed away at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Thursday, July 27 as the result of a traffic accident.

Funeral services were Monday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Churfch, New Hampton, with Pastor David Bergstrom officiating. Music for the service, was provided by Edith Kolthoff as organist with hymns "In the Garden", "Amazing Grace" and "Old Rugged Cross".

Interment was at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Boyd. Pallbearers were John Kottke, Jim Franzen, Bob Weidler, Terry Wurzer, Harold Lantow and Ken Nie-u woehner. Honorary pallbearers were Karl WeidJer, Lloyd Peters and Raymond Lantow.

Visitation was held Sunday, July 30 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.

Peggy was born Oct. 10,1940 in Chickasaw County, the daughter of Everett and Della (Tessmer) Reiser. She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1958. She was united in marriage with Marvin Suhr on June 10, 1959 at Hawkeye Trinity Lutheran Church, Hawkeye. To this union four children were born. They farmed north of New Hampton for a short time and moved to their present farm northwest of Fredericksburg in 1962. Peggy was a supportive farm wife and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter. For the past year and a half her life revolved around her treatments at the Cedar Valley Dialysis Center and the circle of friends she made while there.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin; four children and their spouses, Geraldine (Gerri) Suhr, Sevierville, TN, Keith and J net Suhr, Edward and LavOnne Suhr and Everett Suhr, all of Fredericksburg; her mother, Della Reiser; Fredericksburg; a brother, Warren Reiser, Belmont, WI and one Granddaughter, Brittney Suhr, Fredericksburg.

Preceding her in death was her father, Everett Reiser, on April 16,1984.
