NASHUA - Evelyn C. Lines, 84, Charles City and formerly of Nashua, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000 at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City of natural causes.

Funeral services were 1:30 p m. Monday, Aug. 21 at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua.

Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 20 from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 9 a.m. until service time.

Evelyn C. Lines was born July 14, 1916 in Butler County, the daughter of Karl and Clara (Heise) Becker. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1934 and also Normal School that same year. She married Clifford J. Lines on April 24, 1937 in Mason City. Evelyn taught rural school for two years, then was a farm homemaker.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Richard and Jean Lines, Nashua.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Clifford on Jan. 16, 1994; three brothers, Carl Becker, Wilbur Becker and one in infancy.
