CHARLES CITY ~ Thomas Leroy Dann, 42, Charles City and formerly of Nashua, died Sunday, June 4 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Cause of death is pending an autopsy.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the united Methodist Church in Nashua.

Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.
Visitation was Wednesday, June 7 at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua.

Thomas Leroy Dann was born Feb. 28, 1958, the son of Frank and Dorothy (Taylor) Dann. He attended Nashua EleMentary and High Schools.

He married Jackie Mahan; they were later divorced. Mr. Dann had been employed by the railroad, Beatrice Cheese in Fredericksburg and more recently, Easter's in Charles City.

Surviving are one son, Jeromy Dann, Charles City; his mother, Dorothy Dann, Nashua; seven brothers, his twin, Tim and John, Nashua, Robert, Charles City, James, Bricelyn, MN, Dennis, Edington, GA, Bruce, Oak Harbor, WA; three sisters, Mary Madden, Nashua, Diane Wiles, New Hampton, Barb Zellmer, Mason City.

Preceding him in death was his father in 1978.
