OBITUARY.

Krieger.

John Rule has recieved a telegram announcing the death of Gerhardt Krieger at New Hampton, Chickasaw county.

Gerhardt Krieger was a native of Westphalia, and after emigrating to this country farmed near Duck Creek on the Hickory Grove road in Scott county for a quarter of a century. Fifteen years ago he went to Chickasaw county. At that time of his death he was in his 83rd year. He is survived by his wife and three sons and one daughter, John, William and Theodore Krieger, and Mrs. Lizzie Schnoor, all of New Hampton. Five sisters-in-law also survive. Mrs John Mollenbeck, Mrs. William Dahms and Mrs. Lucas Ruhl of this city. Mrs. Jacob Brus of Bluee Grass., this county, and Mrs. Henry Holschlag of New Hampton.
