NASHUA, IOWA - Ida Marie Kollmann, 84, of Nashua, died at home Saturday, September 30, 2006.
She was born November 15, 1921, in Orchard, Iowa, the daughter of William and Ida Mae Feltman Love. She married Wilbur W. Kollmann on Feb. 23, 1941, in Vilmer. He died July 7, 1974.
Mrs. Kollmann graduated from Charles City High School in 1940. She worked as a waitress at Cedar Parkway for many years and was also a foster grandparent.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte (Dale) Krumrey of Charles City and Sharon (Melvin) Allison of Ionia; a son, Wilbur (Terri) of Harpers Ferry; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Matilda Ott of Marble Rock and Margrete Kratchmer of Spooner, Wisconsin.
Preceded in death by a son, Wendel; a great-grandson; and two sisters, Ethel Jones and Wilma Lockhart.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Nashua, with burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, rural Charles City. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, Nashua, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
