FREDERICKSBURG - Edward Everett Hartson, 65, of Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton, of cancer.

He was born March 2, 1940, in New Hampton, son of Everett William and Veva Pearl Simmons Hartson.

Mr. Hartson farmed his whole life on the family farm near Fredericksburg. He also repaired ag equipment, ran a custom farming operation as well as farming his own ground.

Survived by many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there will be a 7 p.m. Scripture service.
