FREDERICKSBURG - Donald Speicher, 80, of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; a son, Tim of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Dixie Bequeaith of Polk City, LuAnn Boom of Urbandale and Kay Musal of Norwalk; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Roy of Fredericksburg; and a sister, Pearl Steege of Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Gene and Leo; and two sisters, Vera Whitnabel and Winifred Elliott.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest and Baptist Brethren Church, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, both in Fredericksburg; friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Saturday, all at the church.
Mr. Speicher farmed in the Fredericksburg area for 42 years.
