Funeral services for Beatrice Lucy Pinter of Protivin were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 9, 1996, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin. The Rev. Allen M. Schmitt officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery with Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She died Saturday, December 7, 1996.
Beatrice Lucy Pinter was born December 13, 1910 in Chickasaw County, the daughter of Adolph and Mary Klimesh Zahasky. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in Protivin.
On September 23, 1935, she was united in marriage to Edward J. Pinter at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin. They farmed until 1983 when they retired and moved to Protivin.
Beatrice worked along side her husband farming the land, raising many chickens and gardening. Her interests were embroidering many linens and quilts, making noodles and reading. She was a life long member of Holy Trinity Parish.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene of Waucoma; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Majella Koudelka of New Hampton; and Mrs. Eleanora Lukes of rural Waucoma; two brothers, Edwin Zahasky of Protivin and Emil Zahasky of Rochester, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Otto Zahasky; and one sister in infancy.
