NASHUA -- Donald Keith Matthews, 63, of Clinton, Tenn., formerly of Nashua, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at home of cancer.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; three sons, Barry of Ionia, Andy of Nashua and Rusty of Des Moines; a daughter, Renae Shoars of Nashua; a stepson, Drew Peterson of Clinton; a stepdaughter, Tammy Merwin of Clinton; eight grandchildren; a sister, Noriene North of Charles City; and a brother, Gary of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by an infant grandson.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Charles City.

Mr. Matthews served in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief on the U-2 spy plane; he worked as a tool and die maker at Oliver Corp., White Farm Equipment, H&H Machine & Tool in Cedar Falls and Traer Manufacturing in Traer, then was transferred to Eagle Bend Manufacturing, Clinton; for the past few years he was employed by Axis Fabrication & Machine Co., Louisville, Tenn.
