NEW HAMPTON - Kathryn Mary Bottin, 92, of Liberty, Mo., formerly of New Hampton, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Liberty Terrace Care Center.

She was born April 3, 1913, in New Hampton, daughter of Phillip and Bridget Ellen Ball Brannon. She married Oscar Bottin on Dec. 30, 1940. He died in 1975.

Mrs. Bottin graduated from New Hampton High School. She and her husband farmed in rural New Hampton until 1966.

Survivors include a son, Thomas of Prairie Village, Kan.; two daughters, Judy (Winston) Burgess of Kansas City and Karen (Richard) Miller of Eden Prairie, Minn.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Jack, Ed and Ray Brannon; and a sister, Gertrude Fehrman.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph Center with burial in Calvary Cemetery, both in New Hampton. Friends may call for an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, New Hampton, is in charge of arrangements.
